Jared + Sarah | Leesburg Virginia | Rurally Elegant Wedding

When Jared and Sarah agreed to accompany their mutual friends on vacation, they had NO idea that God was about to change their lives forever. From the moment they first laid eyes on one another, their “spark” ignited. As Jared so eloquently phrased it, not even SML lake could put it out! The immediate attraction rapidly grew and now the rest is history. Fast-forward 11 blissful months and they found themselves decked out in an elegant white dress and a dapper grey suit. I had the pleasure of meeting these two the week they met one another, which made me so humbly blessed to play a part in their special celebration! I was more than ready to get the show on the road and begin capturing the day. I’m telling you guys, only God can write intentional love stories such as this one.

As I arrived at their wedding venue, I couldn’t help but notice that two time eras seemed to collide. An exquisite combination of eccentric country and modern style. There were so many diverse aesthetics that provided a full array of options for backgrounds. Rolling hills and picturesque layouts could be spotted in every direction. Talk about every photographer’s dream, right? Don’t even get me started on the stable where the groomsmen were getting ready, it was the epitome of pure class. The simple elegance of the wedding was stately to say the least. I must say, Sarah pulled her ideal theme together in a wonderful way.

OK ya’ll, one of my favorite segments of every wedding is seeing the celebration unfold on the dance floor. I believe that the music selection is key to setting the tone for this timeframe, and I must say...the DJ let his skills shine! I kid you not when I say that the ENTIRE wedding guest party joined Mr. & Mrs. Dull on the dance floor! There was no hesitation when the party began to gear up and bust a move. I smiled behind my camera as I watched the DJ provide the perfect stage for shooting multiple hilarious (and impressive) moments. I have no doubt that Jared and Sarah felt fully supported from the beginning to the end of their wedding day. Knowing that you have a tribe backing you up, whether on the dance floor or in spirit, is a major asset to any newlywed couple. So...when your special day comes around, don’t forget to take a step back and mentally capture the smiling faces around you. They are there to support YOU! Never take that for granted.
