Picture this, two love birds standing close with their arms wrapped around one another in the crisp fall air. Not a care in the world, only an overwhelming sense of love being shared. The clouds begin to take form, then raindrops slowly fall during this tender moment. Slow rainfall quickly escalates into a hurricane-style downpour. And yet...the smiles do not dim. Husband and wife barely notice and honestly don't care as the weather takes a drastic turn. This scenario sums up the resilience that Ross and Courtney shared during their entire wedding day. The weather was less than ideal, and it continued for the celebration. I know that I would have had a less than stellar attitude as the rain relentlessly fell from the sky. Courtney's attitude did not waver. She smiled and expressed a tangible joy throughout the entire celebration. I cannot help but respect her resolve and focus on what truly made a difference.
I firmly believe that all brides should approach their wedding day with an open mind. We have all heard horror stories shared from multiple past brides. They happen sometimes...but your outlook makes ALL the difference. So future brides, please keep your focus on the bigger picture. Your union with your future spouse is far more important than the day's weather or having an MIA cake topper. ;) Regardless of the weather's persistent craziness, Fall was in the air. Courtney's color palette screamed an Autumn rustic vibe that was more than fitting for this time of year. The floral statements enhance the Autumn season vibe with the moody hues of deep cabernet and navy. This was by far one of the best autumn bouquets I've seen this year, thanks to Florals by Kimberly. She always delivers Pinterest-worthy arrangements sure to tie together any event or wedding. Give this gal a shout-out!!
Fall is a season of transformation. Renewal and change, it seemed only fitting for Courtney to bring up her husband's recent testimony of salvation into her vows. Ross met the Lord as he was dating Courtney and now his life has been changed in ways unimaginable. A marriage built on the foundation of Christ is one that is set up for success. Most importantly, it is an example of how deeply and passionately Christ loves His church. His people. What a beautiful and powerful opportunity they have been blessed with. To let their lives as husband and wife reflect a Christ-like demeanor and staple to the modern world. Commitment, undying love, loyalty...all qualities that reflect a godly marriage also reflect our Savior. Ross and Courtney, continue living for Jesus' glory. Your obedience will bring overwhelming blessing and lasting love. Congrats on yours forever!
Love,
Hannah XX
