July 11th, 2020

Who would have thought that planning a wedding in 2020 would be so insane for Garret and Alana. They had to deal with strict covid-19 guidelines and make difficult decisions. Through it all, they maintained a grace-filled spirit and resilient demeanor. God certainly showed up and showed off as everything fell into place, albeit last-minute. Ultimately, Alana slayed it as a COVID Bride! Her boho-chic industrial theme shined through every little detail.

From the trendy geometric arch, to the memorable portrait of her birth daddy tied to her bridal bouquet. You never would have known that their journey to their wedding day was a rocky one. I couldn’t help but notice her attention to detail here you guys. Listen up, this is an awesome takeaway. Make your wedding day as personal as possible. Go out of your way to tie in your love story AND your wedding day, you won’t regret it. I’ve seen multiple brides tie in some pretty precious details and it has been inspiring!

When Sarah and I were walking through the venue, we couldn’t help but admire the dreamy color palette. Simply drop dead gorgeous, a beautiful twist of unique and modern. From the moody burgundy to the vintage blue and peach tones, it created a vibrant scheme that suited their July wedding. When Alana requested that the bridal party travel to Lynchburg Grows, I was ECSTATIC! These two lovebirds understood the importance of choosing a location that emulated their particular theme. The glass-covered atmosphere provided an ideal stage for the multi-colored bouquets, provided by Kay Hall, and the gent’s burgundy suits. Not to mention, the faded blue doors that made us feel like we stepped onto a villa in Greece. The joy and laughter that the bridal party shared during this process was infectious for Sarah and I, we were elated to catch on camera.

As I was finalizing their photo gallery I reminisced on the lighthearted spirit of the day. How you never would have known the turmoil and angst taking place in the outside world. Everyone, including the wedding guests, were brimming with excitement for Garret and Alana’s celebration. That stood out the most, the joy written across everyone’s faces. For that one evening, everything was perfect. The proof is in their gallery, now this is what it’s all about for me, friends. Capturing priceless moments in time for families and lovers, young and old. I am blessed beyond measure in this business you guys, just totally and completely blessed. So congratulations to the happy couple, Mr. and Mrs. Price!

Much love,
