“How sweet is it to be loved by you.” I found this quote so fittingly displayed at Drew & Sarah’s intimate beach reception. The tangible chemistry between these two was more steady than the ocean tide! Filled to the brim with raw love and lighthearted sentiment, a beautiful duo. Have I mentioned that I love to travel for beachside weddings? My creativity soars amidst the sand and seashells, just saying. Nothing was over the top which is one of the reasons why it made such an impact on me. The simplicity made room for a fun celebration that was stress-free (let me say that again) STRESS-FREE. They made their guests a priority and they could not have been more hospitable throughout the day. Everyone felt cherished and special, especially the newlyweds.

I don't know about you, but the intimate shots are one of my favorite elements every time I shoot a new wedding. I never want to forget the small moments, they seem to become more significant as time passes. Now, this goes for both tangible moments & physical elements. For example, something as simple as choosing your wedding perfume, or even deciding to share a first look with your father. Not once have I heard a bride complain that she went overboard in the details department. One of my brides actually used the beaded elements from her mother’s dress to make matching bracelets for the two of them. So, dear brides, let your heart shine through the intimate details. Take the time to make your wedding day even more meaningful than a fairytale.
